Description

This medium-sized evergreen tree has a moderate growth rate. Its stems grow through the center of its circular leaves, which appears that the stems are skewering the leaves. Prune to desired shape and size. The foliage is excellent for cut use. Leaves start off shiny gray and mature to silver, then cream. White, fuzzy flowers appear from fall through spring. Foliage has menthol fragrance. Eucalyptus needs well draining soil. It tolerates heat, humidity, planting on hillsides and low watering.

Water Saving Tip:

Fix leaking sprinklers, valves, and pipes.

One broken spray sprinkler can waste 10 gallons per minute - or 100 gallons in a typical 10 minute watering cycle.
